Scope cap & killflash review

If you often play in dusty, dirty, wet environment, rain or snow, you should consider scope caps, and if do use scope caps, you know that break or lost waaay too often…

This kit is good alternative for the traditional caps, tightened directly on the scopes body and the caps held tight with bungeecord.

You can open and close them with or without the included killflash.

I cut out the middle of the killflash, it casted a slight shadow on the image at 1x zoom, and anoyed me. Now the image is clear, but the killflash is probably still effective mostly…

On the eyepeice my main concern is rain falling on the lens, and when lifted to aim the picture of the scope is disrupted by them.

The system is same at the back as the front, just without killflash.

You can make it flip up, down or to the sides as you prefer.

These one made of some 3D printed nylon, nothing fancy, but seemingly durable. And if you bump them to something I suspect the bungeecord will just let them slip instead of breaking. Will see how they held up against bb impact in the future.

My only drawback is the unreasonably high cost. For some pieces of plastic printed in China, this cost really makes 0 sense. I think if you are good ad 3D designing and have a better printer you could make it for few bucks.

Regardless, if you are interested I will leave the link for it where I ordered:
