THE Mk23

Here is my current kitlist and build of Mk23. I will try to provide links for the pieces I use, othe than parts with obvious or multiple sources.

I personally use my Mk23 50-50 with my SRS, so maxing it out makes a perfect sense to me. Keeping it in mind, if you only use as a secondary, this kit is waaay overkill.

Set it up to shoot at 1.5J with .45, with these internals it takes somewhere around 120psi. At that setting the 8ci 3000psi tank provides way to many shots to count, never ran it empty yet…The fps stability on regulated air really tightening up the grouping on longer ranges, follow up shots easy possibly and fps dosn’t drop even during magdrops.

The Wii-tech steel internals are really for longevity, before I installed those, had to replace something /or the whole thing/ in the trigger mech about every year. Since I installed those it keeps on rocking flawlessly.

If you want a tip, replace the hammer spring to Tokyo Marui one, compatible but it’s dimensions are slightly different. When you engage the spring it has room for torque the whole spring, not just it’s final portion. In practice it means the trigger pull is much lighter while maintaining the J. It also made of way better spring steel, it dosn’t loose power over time.

I had the highest J with modify rubbers, so far x-range works best for me with my 144mm inner barr. Paired with the stronger nozzle pull spring it has no sticking trigger either.

Currenty I use the Airtac latest T1P shell adapter with my high flow valves and peek feedlips.

A tip regard the shell adapter, use a longer wider line, compared to the 4mm line the 6mm line has 0.2J more on the same psi.

As a side note: JAG Arms makes transparent shells, which make the bb count much easier. And those shells are total CRAP. Weak springs, wrong shaped followers, nothing but feeding issues… I literally had to butcher Cyma shells to use their springs and followers to make them work properly. But there is no other transparent alternative so…

Choice of externals is kind of obvious, other than the top optics rail, that is for a dot at night use to shoot with nvg. (I yet to find the perfect dot tho.)If you looking for a light mount I also suggest Tridos one, I had that on my other mk and it worked properly (the one I have on this never made into productions I think)
