Airtac T1P Mk23 shell adapter & SA transparent shell review

I just noticed that I’m using the Airtac T1P adapter for TWO YEARS by now! It does not sound correct to me, but I guess time flies… Also runing the SA transparent shells for half year, so I can say the long term testing is pretty much concluded.

This T1P is from the very first series of it, and highly likely they changed/updated things on it since.

As a tl;dr, if you want to elevate your Mk23/ssx23 game, just get one… It’s an investment once, but it worth it.

As you see I installed my PEEK feedlips and high flow valve, other than these I made some small modifications.

Fist thing I did was sanding a small radius at the bottom plate to prevent it cutting into the airline, I found that edge just a tad too shap for my likeing.

The little green piece you see is a mm thick O-ring, I glued on the bb route blocking tab so the when the sell in, it’s pressed in a tiny bit more. Also that tab is held in place by a crosspin, the same crosspin is gets in the way of bbs falling out when you take the shel out. However that pin in my case was too short, and by walking out of it’s place could tilt a little and block feeding. Replaced the pin to a longer one, so it’s can not move and couse trouble anymore.

The chanel feeding the bbs has a slight turn it it, I can not take a photo of it because it barely visible, but that little corner was a tad too sharp, and at the last few bb-s it stopped feeding, after sanding it down the problem gone too.

Regarding the SA shells, there is not much to say, and that is the best possible thing in case of a mag.

It is there, it feeds, it did not cause a single jam yet, if I really really wanted to highlight an issue, the spring is maybe a little bit too strong. If the bb feed chanel is full, and you slap the shell in hard, it may forces a bb in the chamber and cause a double feed.

Summing it up, if you want to HPA your Mk, use shells in it, or just like the concept of this, it js a really well working setup, and I could not come up with a better one!

Since not much new to say about the SA shells other than working well, it you want more details on the SA shells take a look at my previous post about it:
